I have come to the abrupt conclusion that Roman Abramovitch will either fire or ruthlessly execute Andre Villas-Boas very soon. Which is sad for the plucky Portuguese upstart.

Chelsea got their asses handed to them properly by Napoli and are one Twitter outburst away from a full-on clubhouse revolt. If they don't stomp the crap out of Bolton on Saturday, my money is on AVB updating his resume on Sunday.

He's not won, his squad is old and getting older by the second- He has Putin expecting his money and time to be spent on WC. I would not be surprised to see him go. Cheski can then go back to where they belong a midtable club with no history and no real fan base.

AVB is now gone.

Chelsea have parted company with André Villas-Boas. The manager has left the club following a string of poor results that culminated in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion which left the club fifth in the table.

Villas-Boas's assistant, Roberto Di Matteo, has been appointed the new first-team coach until the end of the season.

After the loss to WBA yesterday, I said to my wife: "Well, that's it for AVB then".

I suspect nobody in this group will credit me with psychic abilities, though, or will be interested in stock tips.
