So You Want to Plan a Cycling Vacation?

Biking is a great way to get outdoors and some exercise too. I'm really lucky that there are many bike routes just in my area either right from my home, or a short drive. Although bike "trips" may be nice, it's great to explore your immediate area.

My wife and I have done a couple.
Our experiences have largely been good.
One good way to break in is to go on a hub and spoke tour. Either arrange one yourself or go with a group.
We have had good luck with this nonprofit group.

We just did a hub and spoke tour on Crete. Rented bikes there as did most of our group.
