Bookmarked for next week. I get to church on Sunday but not always on those other times (like Holy Week) when I know I should.
"O Sacred Head Now Wounded" always makes me think of Paul Simon's "American Tune". Simon acknowledged borrowing the melody. About the shock of Watergate and the country trying to recover, knowing this "perfect" country (so we naively thought back then) came close to having the President removed from office, and so soon after the turmoil of the 1960s.

Some atheists like sacred music, too.

Bach: St. Matthew Passion

Warning: 175 minutes long.

It's an awesome work. Parts of it are unbelievably beautiful.
