However, I still have an image of one of the DD guys running across the wilderness carrying a torch for the start of the next Olympics.

I remember back when my mother and stepf***er made us all go to church that they (the church) considered anything from Hollywood to be sinful. We weren't allowed to go to real movies so we were hungry for any kind of entertainment. We got stupid shit like this screened at our church (with popcorn too!):



We also got to see In Search of Noah's Ark. I remember having to get special permission form the pastor because it was in theaters where we weren't normally allowed to go. But they promised our parents that this ticket money wouldn't get back to "Hollyweird". (no clue how they determined that but I imagine it was just one in a long line of lies for Jesus.)

I've since become fairly cynical regarding anything advertised as "christian" entertainment. Movies, music, TV etc...
