Burglar breaks into Miami religious store, steals pigeons

MIAMI (WSVN) - The owners of a South Florida business are reeling, one day after, they said, a burglar broke into their religious store and took off with a cage filled with pricey pigeons.

For the second time in less than a year, Mae and Nelson Hernandez, the owners of El Viejo Lazaro Botanica in Miami, find themselves cleaning up after a crook.

“People are crazy. People know I have security cameras,” said Nelson. “People know I put the wires. More security, and these people don’t care.”

But the barbed wire and security cameras did not deter the subject from breaking into the business, located at 5800 W. Flagler St., Friday night.

The story doesn't say why they were selling pigeons. I hesitate to ask.

9. Maybe he had a heavy load of animal

sacrifice to get to and couldn't afford the price of admission so he resorted to thievery.....or he was a member of PETA and just wanted to free them....

After they slaughter the animal they eat it according to their website, maybe the guy was having a pigeon barbecue.

Nothing like a nice blood ritual to get the heavens to open up and bring you the chance to change your fate and have your life return to a healthy state.
