Scientologist question: How much does the average person pay

per year to remain an active member of the church? I saw A&E's series about Scientology and it seems like it is a religion for the super rich. How do members afford to belong for their entire life?

Basically, what are you worth-they'll gut you for a percentage of that. Thus, no poor folk.

"Courses" and don't worry about the consequences. They also give them low paying jobs that are like 80 hours a week of slavish labor.
