Sessions and Other Republicans Appear to Be Paulists,

not Christians. The verse Sessions quoted was from Paul's Epistle to the Romans, and appears to contradict the words of Jesus, as supposedly recorded in the Gospels.

Given that, how long will it take before they find these words from Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians:

"For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat."

Sessions, Trump and their merry band will take this as justification to turn detention centers into work camps that farm out those being held to pick crops and do other work for slave wages, just to cover their room and board. It's in the Bible, you know, in 2 Thessalonians 3:10.

And yes, I know it's out of context, but so was Sessions quote from Romans. They don't care. They're Paulists!
