Far right Cordileone, appointed as an intentional insult to perhaps America's most liberal city, received an icy welcome from the many callers, who were unanimously opposed to his policies (as far as I could tell.)
There is a lesson to be learned from such appointments.
Liberals, you are cordially invited to leave. You are dared to leave. The RCC doesn't think you have it in you.

(34,857 posts)He was the Bishop here in Salt Lake for many years prior to moving on to San Francisco. He wasn't entirely liberal, but seemed like a decent man here locally.
How was he in S.F.?
