Archbishop Cordileone on San Francisco's Forum radio show today........

Far right Cordileone, appointed as an intentional insult to perhaps America's most liberal city, received an icy welcome from the many callers, who were unanimously opposed to his policies (as far as I could tell.)

There is a lesson to be learned from such appointments.

Liberals, you are cordially invited to leave. You are dared to leave. The RCC doesn't think you have it in you.

He was the Bishop here in Salt Lake for many years prior to moving on to San Francisco. He wasn't entirely liberal, but seemed like a decent man here locally.

How was he in S.F.?

San Francisco is in very many ways a Catholic town. Why slap them in the face?

Don't understand.

California takes a dim view of DUI nowadays, because it is recognized that it is an offense against the commonweal.

Something tells me there must be more to this story. At any rate, San Franciscans must be laughing their heads off at this misstep from this overly pious man.
