(3,596 posts)I believe in God but I also believe that God gives each of us life. What we do with that life is not God-directed but rather something we make for ourselves.
So to the extent we follow the "golden rule" of helping others, are kind and considerate, etc. we express love for one another.
But I don't think God has specific plans for anyone. He sets things in motion and what happens, happens.
