(RNS) As the Catholic cardinals prepare to elect a new pope, our Sweet Sistine Pope Madness tournament is down to its final two bishops.

More than 26,100 people have voted in the first three rounds, delivering Cardinal Marc Ouellet of Canada and Cardinal John Onaiyekan of Nigeria to the finals. Who will be the People’s Pope, the Bishop of the Bracket, the Victorious Vicar?!?

It’s in your hands folks. So vote now! We’ll close the polls on Monday night and announce the winner on Tuesday.

and have many family members who I love who are still Catholic.

I should feel guilty. But I don't.

I must be truly fallen.

Man, time is getting away from me.

I'm betting on the conservative old guy who is determined to set back civilization by 500 years.

Ouellet has a real chance, and Scola has the biggest chance. Onaiyekan, not so much.

Onaiyekan said pointblank that; ''Similarly, issues of sexuality for example, homosexuality and same sex marriage are all now being proposed as “rights”. This has never been so until recent years. The responsibility for this lies with a small but powerful lobby doing all it can to impose these things on the whole of humanity. The criminal aspect of this exercise is that some of the rich nations are pressurizing poor countries to adopt these inhuman positions as a condition for help and assistance''.

''Nigeria has no business giving in to these pressures because we have enough resources to feed our people. But I am not sure that there is an adequate clear vision in these matters. I suspect that many of those who attend big International meetings on our behalf are often very much unaware of the agenda behind many programmes that appear on the surface very positive and good'', Onaiyekan stated.
