I've rarely if ever seen any actual history on it.

is not History. It's stories are myths and fairy tales.

If they had a program about the bible in the context of real history, that would be different.

But this shit is the same as the Scify monster movie of the week.

Thats my opinion

The Bible reflecting people in a variety of eras who tried to make sense out of their lives and the meaning of the universe. They were not reporting history. They were telling stories. However the History channel put it together, they went for the popular evangelical audience, and never seriously contacted any reputable liberal Bible scholar. It is embarrassing.

And The Apprentice, The Voice, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Shark Tank, "Stars Earn Stripes", Martha Stewart, Sarah Palin's Alaska, The Contender, On the Lot, The Restaurant, Rock Star, Combat Missions, My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad, Bully Beatdown, Starmaker, Expedition Africa, Toughest Cowboy, Wedding Day, How'd You Get So Rich?, and Expedition Impossible.

I watched a little bit of it a while back and it's very accurate I thought.

Cheap sand-and-sandals saga, dull and badly acted.
