1. This reading was very serious and emotional for me, and also addressed my immediate concerns

re: Musk and stopping him. Of course, that wasn't the only topic. Spoiler: it's not smooth sailing, but eventually the resistance works and we keep our country. I daresay it will be a different, changed country. I hope people become engaged and don't take voting or democracy for granted... AND don't get taken in by criminal clowns.

I haven't watched her long enough to guage accuracy, but I've watched a lot as she is fairly prolific. I like her for a number of reasons--she's feisty, funny, and is very knowledgeable about politics. At the end of the video in my post, she reminds us that Reagan took out a huge loan from Social Security and they have never paid Social Security back for it.

This disgusts me that these tech billionaires and the rest of them are putting us through tearing down our governmental departments like Dept. of Education because they want their 2017 tax decrease to the tune of 4 trillion to be re-enacted. They should pay Social Security back first. And nobody should get out of paying taxes. Bezos paid exactly -0- last year; same with Musk.

In 2007, Jeff Bezos, then a multibillionaire and now the world’s richest man, did not pay a penny in federal income taxes. He achieved the feat again in 2011. In 2018, Tesla founder Elon Musk, the second-richest person in the world, also paid no federal income taxes.
