More insights about my progressed Moon in Pisces...

...it has become pure suckitude.

I've been trying to figure out for weeks why I feel so. goddamned. vulnerable.

It is terrible. I have not felt this bad in years. This consistently scared. As a proud natal Moon in Capricorn, I typically deal with insecurity by burying it. That used to work. Lately, not working at all. And flower essences, gems, meditation all no go for emotional fortification.

Last night I figured it out. I feel more vulnerable than ever in my life because I am. What came through to me was that over the past two years, one by one, the things that passed for my security in life disappeared. Parents, sibling, surrogate grandmother, and eventually, a strong, older man who had been a consistent presence in my life for six years. (He kind of went crazy, alienated many friends and affectionates, including me, and it really hurt watching that happen.)

I've noticed that one manifestation of Pisces energies involves endings. I just didn't expect everything to end.

you might want to try for what it is worth....
You might imagine mating with your progressed moon.

The reason I say this is that I have a natal moon in Pisces, plus a whole bunch else there and almost all my significant others end up having Cap moons. (Apparently, I'm rather irresistible to them and they work well for me.)

As you probably know, Capricorn is an uncomfortable place for the emotional moon. You are used to this as it is natal for you, but the lunar planet loves watery Pisces and so does dry Capricorn. I believe this could be a good thing. Not sure about the rest of your chart, But Cap moon and Pisces moon together has been wonderful in my life.

Sorry the transition has felt yucky.

I really try to stay the hell away from moons in Pisces. Can't trust 'em any farther than I could throw 'em. The less said about my hatred of the moon in Pisces the better, since I don't really want to offend anyone with this natal moon sign. So I don't think imagining 'mating' with my progressed moon would really work.

Also, from what I can tell, there is no solution for a bad transit. We just have to try to make the best of it. I just don't love the fact that this lunar progression has corresponded with such extreme loss and left me with these extreme feelings. It is miserable.

I have lots of dependability in my chart so it balances out and having Taurus rising, I tend to want solid folk as friends and lovers. I really understand how that lack of trust could make you skittish. Surrounding you in love and light and stability.

Your spirit will carry you.

Been there a few times...

The key phrase is this: "the things that passed for my security"

I don't need to tell you that there is no security in others. And everything hasn't ended because you are still here with us. Your life goes on, your spirit goes on. And you are strong. Stronger than you know. And we are all one, so they haven't really left. They're just around the corner (or in the case of your strong older man, gone 'round the bend )

This too shall pass. Your void will be filled. Inhale and fill it with your own spirit

While these individuals were still with me, I would have been the first person to point out "I make my own security, other people don't define it for me." Then...my friends and family were no longer with me (at least not in the way they had been before.) And the weight of those losses became very heavy.

But there are some benefits. I think my prog Moon in Pisces has been illuminating (Neptune's power, of course.) It has helped me look at old situations in a new, more compassionate way. There is also a perverse kind of strength involved--being able to look at the worst situations in the world, when I hadn't been able to (at least not for a few years.)

I just hate these awful drawbacks.

The people I mentioned in my OP did not die, exactly. They just can't be a part of my life anymore...or, I can't be a part of their lives. So, before anyone thinks I am in total grief/crisis mode and starts feeling too sorry for me, my family members didn't abruptly die off or anything.

I'm more in mourning for the state of dead or dying relationships. Which is still terrible, but I don't want anyone thinking I'm about to jump off a bridge. I like being alive. Even if it is pure suckitude at the moment.
