SuperBowl and Sunday -
I've seen it happening more and more - people not showing up for Mass on Super Bowl Sunday. Maybe they're at Mass on Saturday night, i don't know. But 9:00 Mass is over by 10, and the stupid game doesn't start until 8! What's up with that?

If I don't care about the teams involved I go to Mass like I normally do at 5:30pm. Mass would usually get done by halftime and I'm home for the second half. If the teams involved are ones I like I go to Mass at a different time.
This year I'm visiting family in St. Louis so I won't make it to Mass this evening.

going to a Sunday evening Mass. It must be a regional thing!
