(JEWISH GROUP) Wendell (NC) community shaken by repeated hate speech vandalism incidents in one week
Wendell residents on Thursday said they’re concerned after people spray-painted a building with hate speech twice in the same week.
The first spray painting was discovered on Monday at a building on North Hollybrook Road. Some of the messaging showed a Star of David crossed out on the side of the building.
Authorities in Wendell said the graffiti was painted over less than 24 hours after it appeared.

Less than four days later, more graffiti appeared, with expletives targeting President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Israel and Charlie Kirk. It also featured even more antisemitic messages targeting Israel and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a bipartisan pro-Israel political action committee advocating for stronger relations between the United States and Israel.
