Tonight April 11, 2017 the full-looking moon follows Jupiter across the sky all night long.

Jupiter is just past its April 7 opposition, and it’s now shining at its brightest and best. The moon turns full on April 11 at 6:08 UTC. Translating UTC to our North American time zones, the instant of full moon falls on April 11 at 3:08 a.m. ADT, 2:08 a.m. EDT, 1:08 a.m. CDT, 12:08 a.m. MDT – and on April 10, at 11:08 p.m. PDT and 10:08 a.m. AKDT. So by the time most of you read this post, the full moon instant will already have passed.

above the lovely St. Barnabas Road - Capital Beltway interchange in PG County, from my observation post in Alexandria, Virginia.

Jupiter is up too, but it's too light for me to see any moons. I'm using my $3 yard sale binoculars, which perform far better than I have any right to expect.
