(763 posts)No cool gear, just a couple big pieces of paper, one with an aperture. Then some neighborhood kids came by with welding helmets and we got to lay eyes on the Ring of Fire.
I confess I couldn't help myself. I glanced at it with the naked eye. Had to. It was like a brilliant hole.
