So far I've only given out hearts in this group. Hastening to add, it's not that I dislike everybody else on DU. Since you asked, only a few of the more obvious dickheads.

But our little madhouse reminds me of the Weird Kid in elementary school who didn't get valentines from all the Kool Kidz.

And let's face it, if we live in One Nation Under Jesus, AMERICA FTW!!!...well, we mostly ARE the Weird Kid. 46% of our fellow citizens believe in Creationism, and a huge percentage of them are paying the bills for hucksters like Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Pope Wonderful and most of the state of Utah.

So here's to us and to hell with them who don't like us. Uh, that's metaphorical hell, of course...

When I was a young church going child, I thought there was something really wrong with me. As an adult, I've come to the realization that I was born with a highly honed bullshit meter and that it has stood me well.

The hearts are silly. But I somehow wanna drop them on our little oddball group.
