"Dr. Andrew Snelling, a geologist who works for Answers in Genesis, "[said] that the intact skeleton of this allosaur is a testimony to an extremely rapid burial, which is confirmation of the global catastrophe of a Flood a few thousand years ago," according to the museum."
Suck on this, non-believers. There is no other explanation for this well-conserved skeleton than a flood. Quicksand, mudslides, swamps, lakes and tides don't exist. And from the way it died, we can deduce the time of death. Case closed.

is no big deal. There are lots of people who dream little dreams and do experiments in their mind.
The problem is...
He has an audience.

(18,219 posts)5. It makes perfectly good sense to me.
But did he really say "a few thousand years ago"? I think that Jesus was supposed to have walked the earth "a few thousand years ago". And if I am correct, the Flood was waaayyyyy before that.
I makes me embarrassed that this guy is a "geologist".

Well they only have about 6000 years to play with in their book. So yeah. In his mind it's only a few 1000 years ago for pretty much anything.
