Don't you know that Christians and Jews and Muslims make up stuff like that, and have been making up stuff like those things for hundreds if not thousands of years? No?
You don't remember when science taught that the sun revolved around the Earth? Well, then, let me tell you that story about Christianity and Judaism and Islam all saying about the same thing in ...

the Facts are shaky and/or irrelevant
the Evidence is unreliable and often made up
the Reality may not exist, but they KNOW it's there
the History is extensive, but not very pleasant, or supporting of all the other stuff above
and the Science is sound.... except it's written (before the scientific method) in poetic metaphors and allegories that can have multiple interpretations.... if any at all.

Mileage still varies, though.
