Gunmaker Selling Crusade-Friendly Bible AR-15 Rifles

Cross-posted from Video & Multimedia http://www.democraticunderground.com/1017293470

They're selling guns with an inscription from Psalms 144:1: “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”

Don't worry, I'm sure this isn't a True Christian (TM), or he's misinterpreting the quote, or he's cherry-picking Bible passages, or something. You're a true Soldier of Christ, Mookie. (Yes, his name really is Mookie.)

What would happen if the gunmaker manufactured one with inscriptions from the Quran?

any Jihadist would probably love to have this inscription on their weapon, Allah being the God of Abraham and all.

I went to high school with him. Recently found him via facebook. He's become a ultra right wing asshat. In fact today he posted something amazingly idiotic about Kim Davis.

And, yes, he lives in Florida.

US troops aiming rifles with bible verses. The holy war.

I glad for Mikey Wienstein and the MRFF, which seems to be the only group keeping an eye on the military.

They always go together well!

Strangely.... in Prep School (1974) I wrote a computer (it took up an entire room) program (on punched out computer cards) that wrote rhyming poetry (randomly chosen from a lists of vocab words you had to upload)... the only thing I remember (except me and my friends laughing our asses off at some of the results) is the title the computer came up with for a poem:

'Mookie, the Wealthy Purple or the Sexually Lumpy Date"
