What a set up for the final season!

It’s the only show that I’ve ever involuntarily yelled at, and often holler stuff like, “Oh My God!!!” and “Holy Shit!!!” while watching by myself, lol! The political stuff has been fantastic this season, and they have such a good way of adding humor while still being horrifying. What’s scariest (besides Homelander’s crazy ass), is the story is waaaay too close to reality. All intentional, of course. Been wondering if the political aspect is why Antony Starr didn’t get an Emmy nomination? He is absolutely amazing as Homelander.

Oh, and if Frenchie dies, my cat and I will go downtown and effin’ riot.

It’s basically about if superheroes actually existed, they would be narcissistic, insane, power-mad assholes (definitely a parallel to corporations and the elite), and the small group of humans that are trying to take out the supe leaders for the betterment of society, as well as settling personal grudges. Based on a comic book series, but from what I’ve heard it deviates from the story told there. No one is mad about it, though. The show runner is Eric Kripke, the one responsible for the first five seasons of Supernatural. Lots of fun easter eggs for SPN fans are sprinkled throughout the series.

It’s definitely in my top five favorite tv shows, ever.

The scene with A-Train laughing about killing Hughie's girlfriend, reminded me of this cop.

I've decided to download all episodes for offline viewing.

Not as much as they used to be, because of high-profile shows like GOT. But, look how many excellent performances in sci-fi and fantasy were overlooked by the nominating committees. Anthony Starr, Jack Quaid, and Karl Urban for starts. Most of the cast of HOTD. Shohreh Agadashloo in The Expanse. Sir Patrick Stewart and others in Picard. I could go on.
