Temperature dropping and wind whipping up in Boulder County.

It was 81 F today as I was out running errands. Tomorrow they are predicting up to six inches of snow in this area. I'll believe it when I see it. Meanwhile, it feels good with the windows open again and there is no smoky smell.

distance. Half hour later the valley is heavily covered and gonna just keep getting worse over the next couple days. We had a couple years pretty smoke free. This one is bad.

The fire is a distance NE of us, but sitting in a valley, what happens.

I'm thankful that the front is blowing through now.

Edited to add that I'm ashamed of my selfish post. I'm reminded about how the wind will affect the fires.

wait to do so with the snow. I did,, however, have to change clothes when I got back from walking the pup and brush/wet wipe her off to prevent the smoke smell from permeating everything in the house. Thank heavens I bought one of those heavy-duty HEPA filter units several years ago. It might just get us through this.
