(86,646 posts)Montana, it was a little below zero for a few days, not real cold in my area - was -30s in the northern part if the state, but late yesterday it started warming up. When I went to bed around 10pm, it was already approaching +20F as the wind kicked up again, we have wind 350 days a year. Now it's over +40F and raining!

You can travel over a mountain pass and go from sunny and warm to a 30 degree temp drop and snow once you reach the other side of the summit. And seasons change overnight. You really have to watch the weather around here.

I just took out the garbage and it's sloppy with a little ice underneath. Glad I have no place to go.
And lockdown isn't so hard when you're already reclusive to begin with.

(86,646 posts)Big blob of arctic air coming your way, if not already there, it hung around here for a few days. I was on the western edge of it so it wasn't so bad and got warm quickly as far as comfort goes. Some of that air mass lingers in the eastern part of the state. They had -30F temps. It's some mean-assed cold.
