Another shot of yesterday's #mothership over Montana

Storm chaser photographs epic 'mothership' supercell mesocyclone over open range south of Malta, MT yesterday, 9 June 2021. Possibly the best structure I've seen in 22 years of chasing! @JustonStrmRider nailed the shot!

The picture of the tiny car and photographer looking up from below it gives me the shivers!

Some massive super storm this year, the past week for certain. Some are dropping 3" of rain on locations like Billings. Couple days ago, I could see it from way over here in another county, a couple large cells merged and became one massive cell that covered at least half the state! The whole middle half. The clouds that pass by here are spectacular and I have been taking some photos but there are so many all at once sometime. They don't call it Big Sky for nothing.

I've been thinking about this picture over the past week.
