So, was this a great TG

for this group?

No need to fabricate excuses to spend it alone?

1. It was perfect.

Didn't have to pretend to have a cold as an excuse to avoid spending a tiresome afternoon with people who invite me only because they feel obligated and then just ignore me. The cat and I had a nice time.

5. I'm with you

Even the "hide from the family" Thanksgivings among friends were draining--enjoyable but draining.

My family is gone so I no longer need any excuses. When I was working, I'd work through the holidays, collect the holiday pay, and be all set for January inventory sales.

6. Me, too!

Enjoyed a quiet day at home with my cats.

3. Yes it was. Just my wife and I.

Our daughter, son and their respective SO's came over for no more than 10 minutes where we swapped the collective potlucks out and then left again for their own homes.

Chilly but nice weather and some football made for a great, low key Thanksgiving.
