and asked me to run the Asian group. I will try and do my best. I am not even sure how many Asians are on DU, but if you are one, and would like to help me mod, I would appreciate it, not that we get much in the way of postings. ganbatte ne!

She is working full time for the VA and didn't have enough time to post anymore and figured no one listens to hear anyway, so what was the point of staying. SHE has also closed down her Twitter and her IMVU account she gave to me. She grew tired of racist tweets, and garbage going on DU. She had her fill of it, when she was blamed for being the victim of when she was sexually harassed on here from another DUers and prominent people shunned her. So she said, she was fed up. Our numbers weren't big to begin with, but another Asian has left IMVU. I am pretty close to running this all myself.

6. I'm not an Asian, yet I'm sad to see her go.

I do understand why, though. DU has changed for the worse in the last few years. It's why I post less, too. Though I haven't gone through any kind of harassment, I think it's deplorable that it happens on DU and to good people.

I'm not all that active on this group, but do read it infrequently, or when something truly catches my eye. I would hope that wouldn't be an issue.

The Asian Group has always been quite as far as I can remember. It's too bad there is not more activity here like in the other groups. When there is no one posting it seems like you are just talking to yourself. You always had lots of posts about movies on Youtube with subtitles and I have never gotten around to watching one.

As for bullying, there will be none in this group (I know the stuff going on with Asahina was going on other places on the internet) as Art and I won't let it happen. At the same time, it would be nice to try to build a base of 10 or so people to post on a regular basis to break the stagnation.

I sent a message to Suji to Seoul to see if they would be interested. He's in China, you are in south Korea, and Art in japan, that would be awesome, with me here in the states.


I seriously wonder how many Asians are on DU...I thought we might meet them here but no one ever pops their head up and says hey!

I know he was on "vacation" for a time for having too many hidden posts. Seems like he disappears and reappears. It will be interesting to see if you hear back from him.

Yeah how many Asians or expats who are in Asia. The latter seems like a small amount. I would think there are quite a few more Asians on DU, but they never identify themselves by ethnicity.
