She had a very nice colored tee shirt with a cute picture of Cheshire cat with a very sly grin.

I really don't think she understood the English on the tee shirt

So she likely knows what naked means. They have little effective training in speaking English but I think most can read English at a basic level.

Seemingly random English words are often printed on things as sort of a design element even though they have no logical tie to the item. I saw a shirt with the words Precise Dwarf Bravery.

Japanese culture is deliciously weird to me.
