Lena Park - Rain falling on Yongdong Bridge

Lena Park is a very interesting performer. I saw her on a JTBC entertainment program Begin Again ( 비긴어게인 ). Her Korean name is Park Jung-hyun ( 박정현 ). She is a US citizen. She sings a lot of US and Korean hits in both languages. She has performed around the world.

Park attended UCLA for one year before beginning her singing career in 1998. She later transferred to Columbia University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in English and Comparative Literature in 2010, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Rain Falling on Yongdong bridge ( 비 내리는 영동교 ) is a trot classic by Chu Hyun Mi. It's a sentimental favorite. I spent my first couple of nights jet lagged in Korea at the Yongdong hotel near the famous bridge over the Han River. I will never forget the culture shock. This song was quite popular then.
