and stamina. If she is our nominee, I hope our side uses the Benghazi nonsense (which the GOP won't be able to let go of) to highlight her patient but unbowed *18*-hour performance while the GOP bullies badgered and posed for the cameras. (And the afterward RW media mouths blamed her for the fact that it went on like that for so long. They said she somehow manipulated the GOP jerks into doing that for 18 hours so they would look like nasty bullies.)

I prefer Bernie, but I will avidly support HRC if she is our candidate. Her performance during that hearing just reinforced my respect for the steel in her spine. I am 65 , but in any competition with either Bernie (73) or Hillary (69), I would be eating their dust.

Bill Maher once did a bit about our country's stupid political ageism compared to other countries' willingness to have wise, seasoned leaders of any age. He pointed out the good Jerry Brown has done as governor in California, but also pointed out that despite his age, Brown is in excellent health and stronger and more energetic than many people half his age. I see the same fierce energy in both Bernie and Hillary. They are both simply amazing.

Oh, completely off topic: Last night I saw for the first time Seth Myers' Bernie voice/gesture impression. It is perfect. Normally I don't stay up to watch late shows on TV. If I stay up late it is always to read, write, or grade papers, not to watch TV, but last night I walked a bit on the wild side and watched some late night TV.

She turns 69 in nine months!

Bernie is 74--he was born in Sep 41. He turns 75 in seven months.
