(3,900 posts)had this gone badly, we could have timed with a second hand how long it would have taken befpre Republicans and Sanders supporters blamed the outcome on her - because she WAS Secretary of State, after all, right?

(11,366 posts)She has such a long list of viable foreign policy fuck-ups that I don't need to add something that didn't belong to her to make my point.
Iraq
Libya
Syria
Honduras
Haiti
That's plenty.

(11,366 posts)I see a few on this thread chiding the OP for even thinking about dragging her into what is clearly Kerry's purview.

(3,900 posts)But a few isn't most or even a significant number. And judging by the way some of these folks pile on and twist themselves into knots to go after Hillary Clinton, regardless how ridiculous the accusation, it is sure as sunup that, if this all went badly, we would be inundated with threads and posts blaming her for it, notwithstanding the fact that a few decent people among their number would try to push back against it.

(58,785 posts)Hillary Clinton worked toward resolution of the huge problem of Iran's development of nuclear power through her entire time as Secretary of State. During that time she worked with the six other nations involved to formulate and set in motion the series of steps that lead, as intended, to the nuclear deal with Iran.
What's the great appeal of denying reality? Especially to those who can't be fooled?

(957 posts)The lack of humility .Sorry ,this is not meant to offend you.Sec.Clinton should be given credit for her diplomatic efforts. She just comes off autocratic at times.I know there was a market campaign for her image ,but the devil is in the details.

(58,785 posts)humble about their achievements. Humility doesn't sell. I don't see autocratic at all, but that's in the eye, right?

(3,900 posts)and we all know that an essential quality that every person asking millions of Americans to select them to be leader of the free world must have is low self-esteem. Well, at least certain candidates must meet this standard or else they'll be too "strident," "arrogant," "full of themselves," "superior," etc. for the job.

(957 posts)Doesn't sell when it is disingenuous.Humility is not a commodity .

(957 posts)She would def be pillared(metaphorically speaking). I am interested to see how biased this debate will be.I find the current diff concerning health care to be my priority ,How many people have to suffer or die because of lack of care for the next 4years_think about it although prisoners receive less then quality care it must be provided,it is a right .We have a health care system that is primitive.People care more about their lap dogs then humans.
