I'm beginning to warm up to the Bern...

Working my Sunday volunteer job, talking to a lady who lives in Chris Christie country, and she told me she was surprised that all four of her children were voting for Bernie. This is particularly of note since two of her children are active military and the one that is an Army Ranger and a REPUBLICAN says he is voting for Bernie! He says he cannot vote for Trump or Cruz.

Then on my way home I saw two Bernie bumper stickers. No other stickers of any other type. It's a sign!

I have been favoring Bernie from day one but felt no hope for him to get the nomination. I am beginning to think it is very possible!

Then, when those party elites don't get what they want, we get scolded because it's our fault for not participating.

They like our votes, just not our opinions.

He is appalled at the choices on the right. He values Bernie's truth telling. Admits he is the ONLY honest candidate even if he disagrees with much of his platform. Very telling! I imagine many more Independents also feel the same way. Hopefully they take their comments to the booth.

And yes, Sanders winning the nomination is possible. So is winning the White House. We need people like you to do it though so I hope you join us.

In my 50 years I've never seen a politician like Bernie. He isn't afraid to speak truth to power. When he looks you in the eyes and tells you "the rich are screwing you and I'm going to stop it" you have to stare in disbelief. That's NOT normal for a Washington politician. Or ANY politician. Just blows my mind every time I think about what he's willing to say to power. Even calling them out by name. That's simply not normal but by god it's what's right. I love that. Just love it. And believe me, you will too if you're tired of being screwed like me. Peace.

In my understanding of BS, he is real. He is not a candidate that needs to go back to the fucos-groups or FOB for ideas and posturing. He is Bernie. What you see is what you get.

I wore my Bernie shirt out and have stickers on my car...two couples and a single...enthusiastic and 100% on board.

p.s...and from a graphic that I just saw for Bernie said...

"Not me. Us."

That to me speaks volumes.

Look up Veterans For Bernie and you will see how strongly they support him. So not really a surprise that your frend's active military children are supporting him. Word gets around among Vets and active duty military personnel.

Sen. Sanders exemplifies the enthusiasm and the principled progressive ideas we so desperately need in a President.

I actually feel kind of sorry for the Hillary supporters who I think are there mostly because of the gender factor.

They have to defend her despite her being so firmly entrenched in the one percent; despite her political elitism; despite her conservative foreign policy ideas; despite her association with scandal; despite her untrustworthiness (does anyone really believe she is against the TPP?). In other words, what she actually is and what they want her to be are two very different things.

Let it go, Hillarians! You don't have to be stuck with a stick-in-the-mud candidate!

Feel the progressive excitement ... you too can warm to the Bern!

Unfortunately, if I agree it would be nice but I don't want another WallStreet cohort, I get blamed for being anti-feminist.

HRC would be better than any of the other alternatives (except MOM and BS), but 3rd best is not my choice.

Curious how DWS will respond when he does. If we're lucky she'll pack her bags shortly thereafter. She knows she's history if Bernie wins it.
