There will be change if the people are involved and demand change.

That is the ONLY way change will occur.

Bernie get's it.

However, the crooks and sellouts don't want the people involved. That would hamper their ability to deliver to the 1%.

Note: Let me explain part of the Big Con that has been played on the American People. During a presidential election, they want us involved so they can win the Whitehouse. However, as soon as they are elected they take steps to sell out the people who just put them into power. Do they care? NO. It makes their job easier when people become fed up and tune out.

And when the mid term rolls around they lose plenty of seats. Do they care? NO. It makes it easier for them to reach across the aisle to their fellow corporate hacks and do the bidding of the corporations and 1%. And all those promises that they don't get done for the little people - well they can just blame it on the other side.

As they say, if you don't learn from history you are doomed to repeat it....

Not only do I wish to 'hamper' this ability, I am dedicated to overturning it. It's time this government actually began doing things that help us, and I guarantee I'll do my part to back Bernie, Warren and the rest of the forces of good when they start using the bully pulpit. It's time for some SERIOUS reform around here, starting with getting the Koch brothers and their ilk out of Washington, and making them pay their fair share of making this country work for ALL of us, not just them.

It's one thing to pontificate on an Internet forum. But that's not 'demanding' anything. People need to get in their faces to bring about true change. I don't see that happening right now.

She doesn't want to make the effort for significant progress in health care. As long as insurance cos. and pharma cos. are calling the shots, we are screwed.

I work with a woman who needs a liver transplant; she's been on the donor list for a few months now. Our employer decided to switch insurance companies at the end of 2015, with new coverage from a new company starting Jan 1. Even though ACA took care of the pre-existing illness issue, my co-worker is now in a state of limbo while the new insurance co. reviews her records and determines what they will and will not cover. During this period of time, she has NO coverage.

She is waiting right now, and said she prays every day the phone won't ring to tell her they found a liver because she's not covered yet.

This is a serious situation. Her life should not be in the hands of an insurance company while they 'decide' what to do with her; she should not have to worry about this on top of her health issues.

Medical care must be available to EVERYONE when they need it, regardless of ability to pay, employment, or income.

I agree with Bernie that medical care is a basic human right. Hillary does not.
