Hillary considers herself a Christian,

if that's the case, she's not only morally bankrupt but spiritually bankrupt as well.

Have you ever heard Stevie Ray Vaughn play? The reason he was so good, fantastic blues player was because he put a lot of soul behind his guitar playing. Then you have two blues guitar players, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Jonny Lang, and they know how to play blues. The problem with these two, while they're proficient guitar players, is that they lack soul. Don't get me wrong, they're great blues guitarists, but without soul, it comes out as if they're just going through the motions of playing guitar, no oomph.

The same can be said of Hillary, she's a politician without soul. And when she speaks, it shows. No oomph.

Sanders, on the other hand, is an honest politician with soul.

Sanders, a politician with oomph.

That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Much like with Lennon I fully remember where I was at and what I was doing when Vaughn died. Sad fucking day and another one lost. it's just something you don't forget if you love music.

Stevie Ray Vaughn is my favorite artist period. No one better, and if I had to take any music to my grave it would be his. K+R.

DU looks more and more like Freeperland in too many ways. It's getting very hard to tell the difference.

If anyone around here has lost their souls, it is those who purport that ONLY they and their candidate have them.

Soul, as in feeling, understanding, having a grasp of something you feel deeply about. Not the actual part of a person that is believed to give life to the body, not that kind of soul.

It's not like either you have a soul or you don't, it's like either you have soul or you don't. See the difference?

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Jesus tells us what to watch for in identifying them. Because they are so extremely deceptive and dangerous ravenous spiritual and moral wolves in sheep’s clothing-the Lord would hardly have left us without means of determining who they are.

As a Christian I wouldn't even attempt to say who is and isn't one. Only God knows what is in our hearts.

Hillary has the values of a politician desperate to get elected, winning is the only thing, even if it takes train loads of Wall Street campaign donations.

With the recent loss of David Bowie, I wonder why Stevie Ray Vaughn was not mentioned for his time with David? might have something to do with Steve quitting when Bowie got 6 or 7 figure money for Steve Wozniak's 80's "Us festival", where David took in money by the wheelbarrow full and paid his musicians union scale?

It seems like a problem with 'an undistributed middle' that connects the claimed premise to the examples given.

Which is to say I am not sure the connection between soul in music an unstated soul/spiritual status of christianity and a spiritually bankrupt Clinton is actually made by your post.

If your point is Bernie's campaign and person demonstrates more emotional commitment than Clinton's campaign and Clinton, I might agree with you. But that case seems to have little to do with christianity, and I'd need to bring my own evidence for that opinion because you haven't given any.

IMO it's an interesting notion to link to the musical idea but you need to fill in the middle to complete the comparisons
