The fork in the road: which path will this country take?

We are faced with two paths. One that returns us to a govt of, by and for the people and one that continues with a govt of, by and for the corporations and 1%.

As they say, you can't serve two masters.

The members of this corrupt system argue that there is NOTHING we can do about the corrupt system that is in place - that we should just allow the government for the corps and 1% to continue (with a promise to tinker around the edges - which is code for don't expect much).

A Sander's Presidency would turn this country in a new direction - to a govt of by and for the people. They argue, you are not going to be able to achieve all you want so you should do nothing - throw in the towel, just accept defeat and be pragmatic (which as Americans we have never been very good at doing). But I'm not going to worry about how far down that path we get, I'm just going to thank God that by electing Bernie Sanders President we are on a new path.

I'd rather take the path that leads to our goals of fairness and economic justice though it may be a rocky incline to be traversed carefully because it requires open minded cooperation, and trust, which in turn requires that we all tell the truth.

The other path is a blind-sided slide toward world-wide inequality, environmental crisis, famine, water shortage, despair, and endless wars when the walls come tumbling down. Though it may seem easier to couch surf, it's not much fun bumping into Trump-Palin-Cruz mentalities around each corner. They'll keep on coming until we all confront the Truth.
