The Des Moines Register announces its endorsements tonight. Anyone care to express their opinion

about the paper NOW, before the endorsement?

I'll go first. I think the Register is solid and fair in its news coverage and in its editorial positions. I believe that whomever gets their endorsement will have earned it fair and square and should be congratulated.

My opinion of the paper will be shaped by whether they understand the corruption in the political system. Seems like a straightforward way to evaluate their editorial board's sensibilities.

And neither do "most here," so their prediction is irrelevant. The paper could go either way.

But I'm glad that you found my post touching. It's the little things that matter.

So maybe she has the edge.

However, they may not want to re-endorse her, since she lost in 2008 and is behind in Iowa currently.

A bold move would be to endorse Bernie. His interview with their Ed Boardwas very cool. Hillary's didn't seem to go as well.

I have no clue what they will do.
