A political revolution, how quaint. No, scary. Never happen

Only it already has. And recently. What do you think the tea party take over of the Republican party was? It was a political revolution that radically changed the party. I'm not suggesting it as a template and there was a great deal of astroturf in play, but it was a revolution and it brought with it not wingnut pols who were elected, but a lot of disaffected and new voters.
