Hillary Clinton through time

HRC: My opponent Mr Roosevelt says he has a better plan for the economy. His New Deal will never get through congress. We don't have time for that. We can't wait. I say we stick with the plan we have, a chicken in every pot. It worked for Mr Hoover and it's easy to do. We just get a chicken and put it in a pot. New Deal more like Hard Deal.

I have always been a champion against the policies of Herbert Hoover. Obviously my previous support of "chicken/pot" economics was based on the information we had at the time. But to you, the liberal audience I am speaking to right now, I assure you, I'm as liberal as you think I should be.

Noting positions that don't match over time are met with some amount of disdain.
