I'm watching a repeat of Rachel Maddow covering the CPAC conference. You can't help but notice the teleprompter right there in front of the podium........

Are they expecting President Obama to speak? ******sarcasm******

They are commonly used in big speeches.

I sometimes think that they don't know what a teleprompter looks like and don't realize just how often they are used.
