Romney releases 2nd direct-to-camera spot

Mitt Romney's campaign is out with a 30-second version of his direct-to-camera spot, hitting the theme again of "how we measure our compassion" and the number of people on welfare versus getting "good paying jobs."

It's a standard commercial for a campaign, but notable for how few like it Romney has run this cycle.

6. Until your comment, I never really looked the motion of Romney's head, but I see it now...

During the ad, he makes several rapid, side to side head shakes... Looks odd once you look for it..

Surely he was not coached to do this by a media consultant...

9. The empathy plug in is misfiring?

So odd the CNN Piers Morgan interview Of Mitt and Ann Romney, when Mitt is asked about his temper & refers what his boys call a Mitt-frontation.

Then the reference to Ann as the Mitt stabilizer..

Mitt says then "if I'm away from Ann for longer than a week or so, I just..I..I..get off the horse. She has to bring me back and moderate me down a bit."

3. The problem with this ad and the one before it

is that they both scream: DAMAGE CONTROL! and viewers know it. In fact, I think when most viewers see these ads, they're reminded of his 47% remarks.

You know the phrase: Will the real Mitt Romeny please stand up? Well, he's already stood up and was videotaped. That was the real Romney. Fake Romney, like the one in this ad, just can't compete.
