My husband has some blind friends who are losing their SSDI. I have a feeling it was because of the compromises made during the last budget deal. This is February after all. Just a couple of months into the new year. When they asked SSA they were told they would have to go through the system all over again. I will never ever ever again vote for any politician who compromises on SS. Never.

It's unfortunate, but quite a number of us just don't trust what HRC says. So, pointing to something that she says is not going to count for much.

If you do trust HRC, I'm sure that's not easy or fun to see that many of us don't trust her.

This primary is unusual in many aspects, but for many of us we are presented with a very stark and very important choice. We have two candidates running. One is one of the MOST trustworthy politicians in D.C. (for many of us) running against one of the LEAST trustworthy politicians in our Party (for many of us).

Again, I know it's difficult for HRC supporters, and I wish the current primary wasn't as divisive as it's turning out to be. I really do. But this primary is for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party going forward for Bernie supporters. And, for many of us, we just can't abide the "New Democratic" Party any longer. Too many Americans have lost too much over the last 3 to 4 decades. Many of us have had enough. We're demanding a return to traditional Democratic Party values a la FDR (if that's not obvious yet - lol). We strongly believe HRC will not take the Party there, and we strongly believe that Bernie would begin the process to take us there.

A lot is at stake for us.

Thank you for continuing to represent HRC so well. It speaks well for you.

the general. Being my state is almost last in the primaries, I feel it's going to be more important overall, especially since there is such divisiveness in the party. I'm sick and tired of the OTT hatred I am hearing- towards not just Hillary but countless other public servants, and worry it will lead more voters to be disaffected instead of truly engaged. I
have no idea how we could ever get a Dems back in congress and the house where we need them, but I know even when we do, a lot of them will be more conservative than Hillary. It's not going to be a cake walk for anyone.
I appreciate your kind words, you speak well for Bernie.

She said each of the States should pass laws for $15 hr. On the Federal Level, she would get $12 an hour as a minimum.

But then, you're not interested in what she really said. Nope.

points and THINK for myself... I would destroy her in a one on one debate... No kidding... She is as bad as the Republicans as well as being challenged on the facts... She had the humorous audacity to scream that she was interested in the facts and insinuated that Bernie ws not so inclined... Utterly unbelievable!

She should if she was smart but she isn't.
Everything is a compromise and what she names IS her high number and she and Bernie will BOTH settle on less. In reality, Bernie will probably get $12/hr and Hillary will get maybe $8.75.

Think about it!

Maybe she is too worried about her former employer, Walmart.

10 or 15 dollars an hour is a total poverty wage. If you do the math, that 15 dollar an hour wage will send a family reeling into the streets homeless. Only a single person could possibly get by on that.

Capitalism is social darwinism and has failed America.

Capitalism is a cult replete with cult followers. When mixed with religion it is deadly. There should be a warning label.

On the solution side, the Cayman Islands should be invaded by Marines and all that money returned to the American people. Change the color of our currency and then deny transferring any old money to new money conditional upon the applicants proving where they got the money AND that they pais sufficient taxes on it. That should clear quite a lot of the flotsam out there.
