This has to be on purpose, right? Theres no way that Rick Santorums campaign would release an official ad in which his picture is splattered with chunky brown liquid without knowing what it looked like. They totally did this on purpose. Right? Right?!
The ad Im referring to is one released by Santorum yesterday on YouTube and entitled Rombo. In it, a Mitt Romney lookalike runs around a warehouse of some kind shooting at a cardboard cut out of Santorum. This is supposed to represent Romneys mud slinging and, as such, Santorums team decided to have the fake Romneys gun shoot mud. Or, at least, its supposed to be mud.
How about we compare a screen grab from the ad with a screen grab of Santorums least favorite website, Dan Savages SpreadingSantorum.com?
<snip photos here>
How could they not have known what they were doing? Savages site is the number one search term for Rick Santorum on any number of online search engines, something that, for years, people have been saying is one of the biggest problems facing the candidates career. And he made an ad that literally has frothy, brown stuff being flung at his own face?

(17,528 posts)I don't think Rick did either or he wouldn't have made that ad. However, other than that...it's a good ad. Poor Rick...can't wait for the media to pick that up.
