Appologies for the poll. I did not know it was illegal or could get people in trouble. (Original Post) trillion Feb 2016 OP

It would be OK over here (UK,) so's gambling on election results. So far Clinton is the frontrunner with Trump a close second, the odds have shortened considerably over the last few weeks.

that person could end up banned (for saying he/she would not vote for the Dem nominee).

I've seen plenty of posts saying they would never vote for Clinton, and I don't think those people got banned.

I thought this was a left of centre site, and supposedly progressive. If someone genuinely believes the nominee does not represent those values they shouldn't be kicked off for saying they'll vote for a 3rd party candidate. If they're voting Republican they should be banished to somewhere nasty, but not other left wing dissenters.

I can't vote in it anyway. Our attention is focussed on the referendum right now.

But it's possible to game the system and some people do, there's a lot going on under the surface. I'm not enough of a drama addict to stay clued in to it all but it's hard to miss after a while.

Just be aware that some of the people arguing really, really hard for Hillary now were arguing really, really hard against her in 2008, that's what this catastrophically awesome thread is all about.
