"Comcast exec to hold fundraiser for Hillary Clinton"

Comcast executive vice president David L. Cohen will host a fundraising event at his home with Hillary Clinton on June 26.

The Philadelphia Inquirer obtained a copy of the invitation, which prices tickets at $2,700 per person. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The mid-day fundraiser is not the first time Cohen has made efforts to help candidates raise money as they run for office.

Cohen, a chief of staff for former Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell from January 1992 to April 1997, also held fundraisers at his home for President Barack Obama and former Gov. Tom Corbett, who lost his bid for reelection.

until we get all this money out of politics ... none of us, no matter who you support, are gonna get the things we want/need from government...
that's just how it is...
your remark that corporate money flow into the political process is frankly a shocking thing to see on DU .. but then again, theres a reason I don't post much anymore.

apparently isn't up for examination or questioning when it comes to Hillary either..

and here I thought following peoples stances on things YOU believe in would matter to a voter...

very frustrating to see such lock step and sheepish philosophies on DU
so tired of business as usual.

until we get the money out of politics, none of us on DU will get anything we need/want from the government.. because all that money will always trump (ope!) what the people want.

$2,700 per person at a HRC fundraiser; when Bernie's average donation is $27.

Amazing. And sad.

that her husband got passed. They have the worst customer ratings, but it doesn't matter since they're a monopoly with no regulation.
