If Hillary is following in the Footsteps of Obama, why can't she raise money like he did?

In 21+ months, Obama raised $750 million from an estimated nearly 4 million contributors (see: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=6397572&page=1 ).

Sanders is well on his way to replicate that. Hillary, not even close. Why? I thought she was running as Obama's 3rd term? I thought she had the same kind of support Obama did? Apparently, the same people supporting Hillary who supported Obama aren't willing to put their money on her.

Is what people are rejecting.

Running the poster boy (or woman) for the problem only highlights it and turns more people against the party.

It's also suicidal in a year when outsiders are all the rage.

Bernie supporters better be worrying about their own candidates finances after a string of huge losses that start this coming Saturday.
