Texas Primary Poll: Clinton 56% Sanders 40%

In the Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton holds a solid lead, 56% to 40%, over Vermont
Senator Bernie Sanders. It appears the former Secretary of State is well positioned to notch
a decisive win in the delegate-rich Lone Star State, which ranks third−behind California and
New York−in the number of delegates up for grabs (252).

Clinton does well with women, who prefer her 62% to 36% over Sanders, and she holds her
own with men, who favor her 48% to 46%. Although Sanders has a massive lead, 81% to
18%, among voters ages 18-34, Clinton dominates in the other age categories, holding a
73-point advantage among voters 55-74 and a 76-point edge with those 75 and over.

Guess it just depends who comes out to vote. Reminds of Fox News always touting their #1 cable news status. Yeah, but who's watching?

Michigan, Illinois, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida all show double digit leads for Hillary, some by over 20 points. Plus in the south--SC, GA, Alabama, TN...big leads for Clinton.

I know...he's going to win big in Maine & Vermont and has a chance at Massachusetts, Minnesota and Colorado. At some point Bernie needs to demonstrate he can win a big industrial state and a state that has a big minority population.

and I agree of the big states California is his best shot. But winning California while losing IL, MI, OH, PA, NY, NJ, TX, FL? Is that enough.

CA (06/07) NY (04/19) and PA (04/26) are his best bets...IL, OH, FL and TX are too close (all in March)...HRC wins this by reputation and name recognition alone...

That's a 35 point advantage from one state. That's double what Sanders would get if Hillary doesn't get one vote from Vermont. That's a big deal, and not the only state she has a big lead in where the delegates are a high number.
