...onslaught of collusive articles incoming, mostly following the same set of strategies.
It'll start strong and end weak, because they have no idea what they're doing. Before it's over, another journalist will be reduced to writing "Voters are stupid poopyheads who don't know anything and Trump is literally Hitler and eats babies!!!!11!!1!!1" at which point Trump's numbers will rise by about 7%.
What I wouldn't give to see the petulant whining cease. The perception of Trump and Media is outside and Power Establishment. Punching down, as perceived by a large chunk of the electorate, is only continuing to make people think there's a real reason that the Establishment is afraid other than some idiocy like "He's literally Hitler!!" and that piques another round of interest. It's pretty much the same problem they have with Bernie, minus the braggadocio attitude. Unfortunately, braggadocio may POLL low, but it SELLS very, very high, hence why Trump gets more of the attention than Bernie and why we must be cautious of the tendency to in-group with the leader who promises strength. His message must be countered with calm, not merely rebutted with calm. Rebuttal alone won't likely be enough.
But I also believe there is no candidate in the last 50 years more capable of countering that message than Bernie, and I think our chances are remarkable high if we can get the media to stop handing Trump fresh followers.
