I am looking forward to today (Super Tuesday)

It's already "today" here in the UK. I think this is going to be a wonderful day for Hillary's campaign and a lot of good Democrats are going to have a chance to cast their vote and have their voices heard.

I wish the best for both candidates. I hope everyone gets to vote for who they want to vote for. I do not join some of my fellow Hillary supporters in calling for Bernie to drop out. I'm happy for this to play itself out until it's mathematically unarguable. That gives the highest number of Democrats the best chance to vote, which helps us in November no matter who wins the nomination.

Happy Super Tuesday, and get out and vote, if one of your states is in play!

Lots of people engaging in the Democratic process today. It makes me feel proud, no matter who anyone is voting for. Both our candidates are miles above the clown car of lunatics the Repubs are running.

Or any Sanders supporters for that matter, even amongst political junkies like me. Most people don't want Trump, or Cruz, now they know who he is.

I don't know anyone else who's looking forward to Super Tuesday or any other primary. They're looking forward to it all being over, because it's gone on way too long as it is.

The closest to a vote over here is The Three Stags pub in Kennington where the urinals have pictures of the three Republicans Cruz Trump and Rubio so you can wee on the one you hate the most.

So I'm still quite invested in the political process over there, even though I've been here for some years now.

Like the urinals! Don't get to South London much, and I suppose they wouldn't be too useful for me even if I did.

The biggest complaint The Last Leg received was from women who were angry they couldn't urinate on a Republican.

The Last Leg is very good, lot's of political satire and two disabled presenters.

I don't think any political process that automatically gives Anglican Bishops seats in a legislative chamber can claim to be better than any other democracy, but at least it's fairly quick. We only knew we were having a referendum a few weeks ago, but it will be done and dusted before the primaries are over.

I don't think we should leave the EU. Partially because we've got property in France, as well as my husband's elderly mother who will require healthcare. It will just make everything more complicated. But on a larger level, I think it will be bad for UK economy if we leave. Nobody seems to really know WHAT will happen if we exit, though. It's quite a quick referendum considering the sides are not at all clear!

The leave campaign is full of racists, bigots, geriatric Little Englanders and filthy rich City oligarchs. They're the only people who stand to benefit, and realistically only the rich bastards will.

There has been some argument that small businesses in UK will benefit, and a lot of big corporate leaders have come out in favour of staying.

But I agree with you. I think it's a bad, ill-thought out idea.

We had little regulation in the 19th Century and we had adulterated food, industrial diseases and accidents.

Btw, have you checked out the UK group there's stuff on the referendum there, and a poll.

However, the UK system doesn't seem much better. I woke up last UK election to discover the whole country had voted to become Tumbridge Wells.

Don't think I could have stuck out a long stay in Alabama. (This was back in the early 90s though.) I admire the good Dems who can keep to their principles in the reddest of states! It's easy to be a Democrat in a blue state. Enjoy your vote for what I hope will be our first woman President!

from Florida. Agree with everything.

Bernie would shock me if he dropped out. I literally expect "more" from him. That more includes expecting him to start tempering his criticism of Hillary/Democrats before long and going after the Republicans more, and I think I've seen some of this.

I have no doubt he will attack the Republicans, and drop out when the race is over and endorse Hillary, if that's the way it goes. Just as I have no doubt Hillary would do the same if Bernie gets the nomination.

We need Florida so much! Let's make it go blue 3 times in a row!

much of a nail-biter -- seemingly. Trump and Clinton....

Yes, Bernie almost always has joined the liberals/Democrats, sometimes reluctantly, but mostly as a matter of course, during his career in Congress.
