How a Democratic Socialist (I) handed Hillary the presidency and saved the world from Trump

It's worth mentioning because much has been made of him running as a Democrat when he's never been a Democrat. They've made this point angrily, bitterly, pettily, and most of all, naively. So how did he deliver the presidency to Hillary? He ran as a Democrat. Had he remained an Independent, which many of you wish he had, you be waking up to a President Trump in November. But, of course, there's a long way to go here, yet. Bernie isn't going anywhere.

maybe he would have had to drop out months ago if he were doing his own third-party run. That seems far more likely.

He did not, though. He used the Democratic Party to become a national figure. And in the end, Bernie is far more responsible than those here who villify our frontrunner and count on her losing to a GOP candidate. They do not represent him.

He's doing his own thing in the dark. He's still raising more money than any candidate. While his supporters are marching in 40 cities nationwide, the media is affixed to Trump doing Marco Rubio impressions. Total media blackout and when they cover him, they either mock him or attack him. I'm still waiting for Tweety to ask Hillary to prove she can get the "beltway" to work with her. I want to hear her plan again, "I'll tell them to knock it off." On second thought, that's exactly why Matthews is giving Hillary a free pass!

He's a great American, but whether it's true or not, 95% of DUers believe Nader delivered the world BushCo. Bernie is a much more formidable candidate than Nader. And, maybe as a 3rd Party candidate, he would have been more aggressive. It's not like people have to make shit up and swift boat Hillary. She has to apologize for 20 years of policy and poor bad decisions.

america GWB/Cheney....knowingly and willingly......just like the talk of some sander's supporters wouldn't hesitate to give america to trump or any other conservative.....just as willingly......I firmly believe no true democrat, progressive or liberal would entertain such a belief that we are better off with trump than voting "against our principles"......to me those people are the fringe that see the world in the selfish view that fringe elements do

democracy has more than two parties. The Democratic Party seems to think that they can bully, bash, shame, and blame people into voting for their candidate and maybe that works on other Democrats. It does not work on Independents. Independents don't give a shit if you think they gave you Bush.

People don't give a fuck about lesser of two evil establishment politics. But, in the end, the reality is he has to beat the establishment this way or deliver the world Trump.
