Namely, that the attempt by the Hillary camp to wave off the Iraq vote by saying, "Come on, that was more than a decade ago," is deeply offensive--just as it was for Hillary to repeatedly refer to the vote as a "mistake."
A better to articulate it would be to say, "The Clinton campaign has been brushing this off as something that happened more than a decade ago. Well, to many service members, the consequences of her Iraq vote continue to be something they live with every day. For the families of dead service members, the consequences of her Iraq vote continue to be something they live with every day. For the people of Iraq, the consequences of her Iraq vote continue to be something they live with every day. To simply chock it up to old history or call a vote that contributed to the loss of more than a million lives and the destabilization of the Middle East a simple 'mistake' demonstrates a callous lack of concern for the lives of everyone who has been impacted by that vote."
